Lucky Branding? Or Pissing People Off

Don’t tell me that there is a multi billion dollar production going on, and nobody sees this and thinks that maybe its a bit overkill to keep your logo on top of the olympic flame during the closing ceremonies? like, “uh, we’re covering the flame. kill the logo for camera one.”
It this an ad gone bad? an ad gone good? or just ‘one of those things’?
